TRYPAS CORASSÃO is a Brazilian duo based in Lisbon. Tita Maravilha and Cigarra hold an aesthetic and political project of hybrid creation between electronic music and performance. It embraces the body that carries memories of violence and now has the power to change its fate. Therefore, they unravel borders, defrontiers and re-borders of genre and expression through sound languages from different parts of Brazil and the world. From funk to jungle, through pop music and folk culture, historical samples, they expose concepts of the dramatic, the oversized and the post-romantic. Brazilian duo formed by urgent bodies of marginal women and trans fury, in an amalgamated and sensual proposal, which brings a live act full of noises and creamy appeals.
We presented this hybrid project at numerous festivals in Portugal, but also in Berlin, Larz, Paris, Stockholm and the UK.
